  • Motonosumi Inari Shrine

    • The vermilion torii gate and the thousand torii gates

      This shrine was established in 1955 as a branch of the Taikodani Inari Shrine in Tsuwano Town, Shimane Prefecture, following a prophecy from a white fox.
      123 red torii gates stretch out from the Shiobuki side of Ryugu.
      There is an offering box above the torii gate at the exit of the back mountain path!
      It is said that if your offering falls into the coin, your wish will come true.
      This is a scenic spot where you can watch the sun sink into the beautiful Hibikinada Sea.

      Senjojiki is a grassland that spreads across an elevation of 333m.
      Beyond the grassland stretches a vast panorama of endless sea and sky.
      The refreshing breeze across the sea carries with it the sounds of birds and the roar of waves.
      On the higher ground, there are beach lilies, azaleas, camellias, sasanquas, and other plants planted.
      Each season, a variety of flowers decorate the plateau, capturing the hearts of all who visit.
