Introducing Kura Sauna and traditional Japanese inn DAIGO SAUNA

Located near the center of Daigo Town in northern Ibaraki Prefecture,
DAIGO SAUNA is Kura Sauna made of Oya stone and a traditional Japanese house that can be rented as a whole.
Surrounded by abundant nature, you can enjoy a magnificent view.
This old-style guesthouse is close to the retro shopping street and allows you to experience both the everyday and extraordinary life of Daigo Town at the same time.
It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes by car from Tokyo.
If you take the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nasu-Shiobara Station and use a car share, you can get there in about two hours.
(There are not many stations, so please check before making a reservation.)

    Daigo Town is located in the northern part of Ibaraki Prefecture, bordering Tochigi Prefecture and Fukushima Prefecture.
    Our inn is conveniently located near the station and shopping district, and you can walk there for lunch and dinner (and drinks).

    There are three rooms so three families can stay.
    The maximum occupancy is 8 people, but we can accommodate up to 14 people if you choose to sleep in a shared room, so please contact us if you have a larger group.

    The main building is the accommodation building, and the detached stone storehouse is used as a sauna.

    The living/dining/kitchen space was created by renovating two Japanese-style rooms.
    The mortar-coated island kitchen is equipped with tableware, cookware, and appliances.
    There is also a hearth at the back of the living room.

    We also have facilities for workation, meetings, etc.
    In addition to a large screen (up to 80 inches), we also have a projector and whiteboard available.

Cancellation policy

If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 14 days prior to check-in.
Please note that cancellation fees will apply after that time.
The same regulations will also apply to cancellations or changes in the number of people due to suspected COVID-19 infection or close contact.
We ask that you consider your health as your number one priority before deciding to travel.

■Cancellation from 14 days in advance:30% of room rate

Please pay by credit card on the reservation page.
*Payment cannot be made on the day at the venue.

Prohibited acts

・All rooms in the building are non-smoking.
If you smoke outdoors, please bring your own ashtray.
Please be careful to dispose of cigarette butts and fires as they can cause fires (forest fires).

・Please refrain from bringing pets with you to the hotel.

Regarding use of wood stoves

A wood burning stove is available as an option.(Fare:7,700 yen)
Please check the house manual and take care to avoid any breakdowns or damages.
Please bring your own firewood and fire starters.

Meals

As this facility is a rental property, we do not provide meals.
There are restaurants nearby (within walking distance) so please use them,
Please bring your own ingredients and cook as you like.
There is a supermarket (TAIRAYA) within a 5-minute drive.

Rental equipment

We provide a BBQ grill as an option (charge applies).(Fare:3,300 JPY)
Please bring charcoal and fire starters.
Projectors and screens are available for free rental, so please feel free to use them.
