■Jigokudani Yaen-Koen(Snow Monkey)
This is a place where you can see the world-famous "Japanese macaques bathing in hot springs."
In winter, the snow scenery and monkey bathing scenes are very popular, but you can also enjoy watching the monkeys living freely in the forest from spring to autumn.
■Walking around the town of Shibu and Yudanaka Onsen
A hot spring town with cobblestone alleyways and an old-fashioned atmosphere.
You can spend a relaxing time touring the outdoor baths in a yukata and savoring local delicacies and sweets.

In particular, ponds such as Onumaike, Biwaike, and Forty-eight Ponds have well-maintained walking trails, making them hiking course even beginners can enjoy with peace of mind.

The slopes are easy, so even those who are not confident in their physical strength can enjoy it.
You can rent them at the information center in Yudanaka Station.

A convenient day-trip hot spring facility located right in front of Yudanaka Station.
There is a spacious indoor bath and an open-air bath, so you can easily drop in during your trip.
It is barrier-free and popular with tourists and locals alike.

◆Exciting Hot Springs
A public bath for day trips only located in the Kanbayashi Onsen area.
It is one of the hot springs closest to Jigokudani Yaen-Koen, making it the perfect place to drop in for a soak after hiking or sightseeing.Located in a quiet mountain valley, the atmosphere surrounded by nature is appealing.

・Access:About 10 minutes walk from Five Peaks Jigokudani
◆Toraya no Yu
A natural hot spring with water directly from the source, attached to the local inn, Toraya Ryokan.
Day trips to the hot springs are also possible, and you can relax in the calming indoor bath surrounded by the scent of wood.
The water temperature is a little hot.

◆Tominoyu(Toomi no Yu)
Located at an altitude of 1,500m, this open-air bath offers a spectacular view of the majestic Hokushin Five Mountains.On a clear day, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Myoko and Shiga Kogen, and experience the feeling of freedom as if you were floating in the sky.You can enjoy a variety of nature in each season.
