To download photos, an image management fee of 500 yen per group (1,000 yen for 10 people or more) will be charged.

After your rafting experience, enjoy the tranquil countryside of Kameoka.
The site area is approximately 1000 square meters, and there are two villas that can be rented exclusively!
We offer "simple stay" and "comfortable facilities" at "reasonable prices."
*We also offer group plan for up to 15 people that allow for exclusive use of the entire site (two buildings).

Equipped with hot water showers for the upcoming season and spacious changing rooms for men and women.
After rafting, you can refresh yourself by washing off the sweat.
You will have even more fun with sightseeing and dining.
*The shower facilities are simple, so you can wash away your sweat quickly.
As this is an outdoor facility, out of consideration for the environment, shampoo, body soap, etc. are not provided.

Hozugawa River Rafting Base is a 5-minute walk from the station.
This convenience is appealing! No wetsuits worn during summer!
We provide all the equipment you need for rafting, including wetsuits and life jackets.
It would be great if everyone looked the same in uniforms with the logo on them!
In the middle of summer, just wearing a wetsuit in the Hozugawa River makes you feel hot.
So, from July to September, we want you to enjoy rafting in the most comfortable clothes possible.
You are welcome to participate in the event in whatever attire you like!

All tour guides are certified by the RAJ Rafting Association.
The tour leader will be a senior guide with advanced qualifications.

Preparation and cleanup will be done by BBQ specialists, so the quality is outstanding!

After reception, you will be asked to fill out the necessary paperwork. *Hozugawa River Rafting Base is a 5-minute walk from Umahori Station on JR Sagano Line (Sanin Main Line). If you take the train from Kyoto Station, you can enjoy the view of the Katsura River along course. You'll definitely be excited and pumped up even before it starts! *If you are coming by car, we are conveniently located about 8 minutes from the Shino Interchange on Kyoto Jukan Expressway Jukan Expressway, which is easily accessible from both Osaka and Kyoto city. You can use the parking lot in front of Torokko-Kameoka Station, which is a 1-2 minute walk from Hozugawa River Rafting Base. |

Hozugawa River Rafting is characterized by its challenging course include gentle sections and rapids, as well as the opportunity to view the trolley train and JR. Along the way, you will have plenty of fun activities other than rafting, such as playing in the river using a boat and diving off 3m rocks. Don't worry, your guide will call out to you at points with rapids. It's a tour that's full of laughter from start to finish. |

We will walk to Hozukyo Station on JR Sagano Line while talking about the fun spots. *JR Sagano Line Hozukyo Station in the middle of nature is a "! This is an unmanned station." We will all return to Umahori Station by train and move to Hozugawa River Rafting Base. The exhilaration of spending a day in nature and the unique experience will be a wonderful memory. The Hozugawa River has many fun, undulating spots, so we'd like to introduce some of them to you.
*This is the river map for regular Hozugawa River Rafting (half day only).Family rafting is different.
| 【1】Gold Under the Rapids | The total length of the rapids is about 50m. Many large waves will block your path. You'll definitely be completely soaked all of a sudden! |

| 【2】Koayu Falls | The name has evolved from "Scary Waterfall" to "Koayu Waterfall." This is the waterfall with the highest drop on the Hozu River. We give the boat plenty of speed and then plunge into the rapids. |
| 【3】Otakase | One of the most difficult spots on the Hozu River! First there is a big curve to the right, then there is a straight castle wall on the left and a large rock blocking your path on the right. |
| 【4】Shishigaguchi Rapids | This rapid looks like a lion with its mouth wide open, and violent waves are concentrated in the latter half. You'll definitely become addicted to rafting as you crash through the rapid waves! |
| 【5】Forked Rapids | Usually, you take the right course.When the water level is high, the left course may be an illusion? The rapids are relatively safe, so you can enjoy various activities as you go down the rapids. |
| 【6】Morning Sunrise | The morning sun shining into the deep valley creates a beautiful rapids.This is a recommended point for a nice view. In the second half, larger waves gather and the exciting climax comes at the end when a large rock blocks your path. |
