Kawazu River River system includes the Yatsugawa River, Sawada River (a real hidden gem), Sagano River, Konabe River, Onabe River, Okuhara River, and Numano River, all flowing downstream. Another hidden gem is the Tajiri River, which flows from Mitake Iritani.

Sagano River... Kawazu River River is a tributary of the Kawazu River; this tributary can be accessed from beside the Sagano Bridge on Prefectural Road 14.The first waterfall is Sanyoin Waterfall, located below the bridge. There's a great spot to fish from above, overlooking a waterfall, with large fish lurking on both sides of the drop. A few years ago, I spent a year fishing there and managed to catch 10 fish over 30cm.After the water level rises, amago trout will move in from the main stream. Also, in the past, May trout would enter the area and could be seen jumping out of the waterfall. If you go in the opposite direction from here by stepping on the stones, you'll reach a dynamic gorge with towering boulders and strangely shaped rocks, but there's also a walking path right beside it, so you can rest assured.
  • Stream fishing is also fun

Kawazu River has many tributaries and branches from the main stream, making it a great place to enjoy stream fishing.
