An amazing walk on the sea, 45m above the whirlpool.
The mechanism of Naruto whirlpools is due to the difference in tidal levels between Seto Inland Sea and Kii Channel.
It is a natural phenomenon caused by strong tidal currents.
The whirlpools reach their largest size during spring and autumn high tides, reaching a diameter of up to 20m, and are said to be the largest in the world.
The most impressive whirlpools occur during the hours of the day when the tides are at their fastest.
The whirlpools cannot be seen during times when the tides are not flowing.

Mt Bizan, which was celebrated in the Manyoshu anthology with Manyoshu (Collection of Myriad Leaves), "Like eyebrows, the mountains of Awa appear in the clouds...", is a symbol of Tokushima.
A ropeway leads to the mountaintop, providing access not only to Tokushima City Center but also to the city center.
On clear days, you can see as far as Awaji Island and Kii Peninsula.
