    • Onaruto Naruto Strait

      An amazing walk on the sea, 45m above the whirlpool.
      The mechanism behind Naruto whirlpools is the tidal difference between the Seto Inland Sea and the Kii Channel.
      It is a natural phenomenon caused by strong tidal currents.
      The whirlpools reach their largest size during spring and autumn high tides, reaching a diameter of up to 20m, and are said to be the largest in the world.
      The most impressive whirlpools occur during the hours of the day when the tides are at their fastest.
      The whirlpools cannot be seen during times when the tides are not flowing.

    • Mt. Bizan and the Mt. Bizan Ropeway

      Mount Bizan, which is also written about in the Manyoshu as "Awa mountain seen in the clouds like eyebrows...", is the symbol of Tokushima.
      A ropeway runs to the top of the mountain, and it is easily accessible not only from Tokushima city,
