In this location and in this building, our predecessors have run a variety of businesses, from bread wholesale to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant and an izakaya.
We have a strong attachment to this land and this building, and we thought about what we could do as a generation.
We created "HOOD" by renovating an existing building with the idea of running a lodging facility for individuals, groups, and families.

"HOOD" means neighborhood or local area.
We named it HOOD because we wanted it to be accessible not only to tourists, but also to local residents.

The HOOD logo represents the connection between the previous generation and the next generation.
We incorporated our zodiac sign from our predecessors.

This simple inn has six rooms.
In addition, we have two saunas that can accommodate one or two people.
I hope you will be able to relax and unwind after your trip.

We started with members who were new to the tourism and hospitality industry,
All of our members have been in the local area for a long time and have connections with many different industries.
We will provide various information to visitors, from tourist spots to island cuisine and local products.

The staff at this facility, including the owner, are all inexperienced in the hospitality industry.
We are aware that there are many areas in which our service is lacking, but we will continue to strive to improve it day by day, so we appreciate your continued support.

Each room can accommodate from 1 to a maximum of 5 people.
Each room is equipped with a shower room.
We also have rooms where families can relax and unwind.

There are two saunas available for one or two people.
You can relax and unwind after your trip to Amami-Oshima Island.
The sauna is open to the public, not just to guests staying at the hotel.
Locals are welcome to use the facility as well.
