      The museum is known for its display and sale of over 40,000 owl-related items, as well as its "Winter in Aizu" series.

    • Rito Reef Art Museum Fukushima

      This is the world's first leaf paper cutting museum.
      A gentle and somewhat humorous world unfolds on a single small leaf.
      The stories of the various creatures that live there have inspired people not only in Japan, but all over the world.
      This is the first museum where you can see the works of leaf paper cutting artist Rito at any time.Enjoy the gentle world on the leaves.

    • Four Seasons Village

      The spacious garden is covered with grass, and you can enjoy the clear sky with Mt. Azuma in the background.

  • Shrines and temples

    • Nakano Fudoson Temple

      It is one of the three major Fudo Myo-o statues in Japan.
      Within the temple grounds stands the vermilion-painted Dainichi Hall, which was built to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the temple's founding.
      The "cave tour" which takes in the sacred flame that has been burning since the temple was founded and the cave where the 36 children are enshrined is a thrilling experience.

    • Rurikozan Ioji Temple

      It was founded by Kukai in 826.
      The family temple of the Sato clan of Shinobu.
      There was a camellia planted there after the Sato clan was wiped out.
      It is said that the flowers do not bloom due to the grief of the mother, Otowa Gozen, who lost her son.
      Please try looking.

      It has been praised as a pure Japanese garden of water and greenery, perfect for those seeking peace of mind.
      This stroll-style pond garden was completed over a period of more than 10 years and is mainly made of red pine, Japanese white pine, and stone.

    • Former Horikiri Residence

      This tourist facility is open to the public and was built by repairing and restoring the old homes of wealthy farmers and merchants that date back to the Edo period.
      The largest and oldest storehouse in the prefecture, "Jukkengura," built in 1775, and the "Main House," a modern Japanese-style house, are some of the attractions.
      You can see buildings of great historical value.

  • Public bath

    • Saba Lake Bath

      This is the oldest hot spring in Iizaka Onsen, and it is said that Basho also bathed here when he visited Iizaka in 1689.It has been loved as the oldest wooden public bath in Japan, but in 1993 it was remodeled with a granite bath that recreated a public bath from the Meiji period.You can spend a blissful time surrounded by the scent of hiba.

    • Haraiyu

      It has a history of about 1,200 years and was demolished due to deterioration of the building, but was rebuilt and reopened in January 2011.
      It features a Japanese-style exterior with a drum tower.
      A short walk from Iizaka Onsen Station.
      There are two baths available: one with hot water, a specialty of Iizaka, and one with warm water.

    • Tennoji Anaharayu

      It was relocated in 1986 and combines Tennoji-yu (1805) and Anahara-yu (1789), and is said to be particularly effective for skin diseases.

      It was featured on the popular TV program "Nani Kore Bizarre Scenery" as an extremely hot bath.
