From Chuo Expressway Ina IC, take R361 for approximately 70 minutes from Kisofukushima.
90 minutes from Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway Takayama IC via Ciao on R361.

  • When using a car

    【From Tokyo area】
    From Chuo Expressway, take Ina IC to National Route 19 (Route R361) via Kiso- Kisofukushima and then to Ciao Chuo Expressway Ina IC.

    【From Nagoya direction】
    From Chuo Expressway, Nakatsugawa IC, then Chuo Expressway Ina IC, then take National Route 19 R361 via Kisofukushima -Fukushima and Ciao for 90 minutes.

    *There is snowfall from late November to the end of March, so please bring winter tires.

  • About traffic regulations

    Please note that the route from Route 361 is subject to winter traffic restrictions from early December to early April, so we ask that you arrive at the accommodation by around 5:30 PM.
    *There are no traffic restrictions on Osaka side route.

  • Winter traffic restrictions are in place from early December to early April.

    In winter, you can enjoy the fantastic snow scenery of Nigorigo.
    Depending on the road you are on, there may be traffic restrictions.
    If you visit, we recommend the 🟡 course (◎ course).
    When you set up your car navigation system, it often guides you to routes where roads are closed.
    Please make sure that your navigation settings are set to follow the yellow 🟡 (◎ course) line, and arrive early.
    (Please note that there is a time restriction on the yellow line section from Ciao Ski Resort to the cross-country course, and the gate closes at 17:30.))

    ⚠️ There are no traffic restrictions on the orange course (△ course), but the road is narrow and there are places where signal is not available, so we do not recommend going late at night.
