Spend a relaxing day at this natural hot spring inn along the canal, enveloped in the gentle light of lamps.

【1st floor】Accounting office and souvenir shop

The tiled roof and large anchor are the landmarks.

In the accounting office, which is a reproduction of a Meiji-era merchant's house, you can see many retro folk items that evoke memories of the past.
The shop in the back sells quaint "Otaru's specialty handmade glass" and pottery.
In addition to sweets, we also offer Furukawa's original wine, which is refreshing to drink.
Our mascot dog, Canal, will be there to greet you at the counter.He's a bit of a shy boy.

■Bicycle rental

Enjoy easy cycling around the city on an electric rental bicycle!
Along the canals, along the warehouses, and up the steep hills of Otaru, Otaru"city of hills,"
It's electric so even those who aren't confident in their physical strength can ride it!

In the beautiful Hikari Lounge with its lamplight and stained glass, you can listen to classical music played from Tannoy (UK) speakers.
Choose your favorite book from the library in the lounge and take a relaxing break from your trip.

A coffee server is available for free use every morning from 6:00 to 24:00.
In addition to coffee, we also offer tea and two other types of hot drinks.Please enjoy a relaxing time.

Although Furukawa mainly offers Western-style rooms, we are gradually working to become a more child-friendly inn!
Here we have compiled some things to consider to give you peace of mind when traveling with a baby for the first time.

Most of the rooms at Furukawa are Western-style rooms (bedrooms),
We also have Japanese-style rooms that are recommended for families.
・Canal side Japanese-style room(23 square meters, 2 rooms)
・City side Japanese style room(18 square meters, 1 room)
・City side Japanese-style room with cypress bath (22 m2, 2 rooms) etc.
*Some rooms are not available for sale online.

<Things I'm Concerned About> Bath
We recommend the "private hot spring" which is perfect for family use only, even if your children are noisy!
It's safe because mom and dad are with you and you don't have to worry about the people around you.

【Open Hours】16:00 to 24:00 / 6:00 to 10:00

You can also use the large hot spring bath "Yukura."
The large public bath provides full-body shampoo and cradles for children.
We will support you in your first hot spring experience.

Meals will be served at the restaurant on the second floor.
Please sit in a baby chair or your own stroller.
<Concerns #4> Meal details
You can choose whether or not to include dinner for your children.
If available, we will provide a "children's meal."
