      • Entrance ~Entrance to Ancient Dogo ~
As the entrance to ancient Dogo, we use "Zeolite Washi" that purifies the air, and make use of the delicate texture of Washi to feel the sacred atmosphere and invite you to "Onsen" to purify your body and soul. We welcome bathers with an imaged shade.

At the entrance, calligraphy sculptures by calligrapher Ms. Shishu are on display.

A “su” is a tool used to scoop up Japanese paper, and is woven using “bamboo strips” that are thinner than bamboo blinds and special threads for the screen.
This special bathroom is a reproduction of Yushinden bath reserved for the imperial household in Dogo Onsen Honkan. To gently separate the bathroom from the lounge, a lace curtain-like "misu" blind is used, featuring the delicate weaving that is characteristic of Iyosu, creating a solemn and dignified atmosphere.
