    Yuyado Miyuki Main Building is a 3-minute walk (approximately 250m) from Yu-batake and a 1-minute walk from Sai no kawara Park. (Approximately 60m)
    It is located right in the middle of Nishinokawara Street, the main street of the hot spring town, making it a very convenient location for sightseeing and strolling.

    The popular Glass Storehouse is located right in front of the hotel, and there are souvenir shops and restaurants in the surrounding area.
    In winter, there are snow melting facilities, so even those who aren't good at walking on snowy roads can enjoy walking around town safely.

      Kusatsu is a plateau town at an altitude of 1,200m above sea level. The average annual temperature is 7℃, and even during the hottest period from July to August, the average is 17.5℃, with temperatures rarely exceeding 25℃.It is cool and hot in summer, so it can be nodded to be called the Tyrol region in Japan.
      Additionally, the wind averages 1.5 to 3 m/s, with southeasterly winds blowing from spring to summer, and northwesterly winds becoming more common from autumn to winter. In particular, the northwesterly winds in winter bring a lot of snow to the slopes.
      It is due to this highland climate that it also holds as a tourist destination for all seasons.This town is located in the northwestern part of Gunma Prefecture, bordering Iimura Village to the north, Naganohara Town to the south, Tsumagoi Village to the west, and part of the northwest bordering Takayama Village, Kamitakai County, Nagano Prefecture.It measures 9 kilometers from east to west and 8 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 49.9 square kilometers.

      Because of the strong acidic hot springs, no vegetation grows on the Kawara, so it is also known as "Sainokawara / Oninosensui".However, the only rare moss called marigoque grows in Yukawa.

      In the park there is a walkable walkway with cobblestones, and along the way, there are hot spring ponds that emit beautiful emerald green, such as “Zuisho Pond” and “kohaku no ike lake”, and German medicine Dr Bälz There is a bust of his collaborator Dr Scriba. They are pioneers of modern Japanese medicine that spread the Kusatsu hot springs and environment to the world.

    • ○Kataoka Tsurutaro Museum

      The idea for this museum originated from the thought, "I want to create a museum where customers who come to the hot springs can casually stroll around in their yukata and geta sandals and enjoy themselves."The art museum has a total floor space of 475 square meters.Approximately 100 points are regularly displayed, including Mr Kataoka books called ink paintings, pottery, lacquerware and the like.I am changing the work several times a year.There is a corner to sell goods such as postcards, and a space to relax with drinking tea.Visitors in yukata and geta sandals are more than welcome!

      Using the cedar plate, reproduce the building of the Onsen sanatorium in Meiji from Edo.It is also possible to enjoy hot springs by coming and going between a bath and a hall.
      Open from 7:00 to 21:00 from April to July, and from 8:00 to 21:00 from December to March (last entry at 20:30) / Open every day(Closed for maintenance.)
