【Tsugaru-jamisen Live Performance】

  • As an after-dinner treat, our inn offers Tsugaru-jamisen performances every night from 8:30 to 8:50 pm.
    The performer will be Michiko Nakano, the 57th Aomori Folk Song Championship in 2011.
    Please enjoy the sound of Tsugaru's heart and the power of live performances.
    *Michiko Nakano is performing all over the country, so there are days when she cannot perform.
    In that case, a disciple will act as a substitute.

  • Michico Nakano

    She was born in 1972 in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, as the second daughter of three sisters who were Tsugaru-jamisen players.
    He began performing on stage with his father at the age of three, began Shamisen at the age of seven, and Tsugaru Teodori at the age of ten.
    He is active as a member of Nakano Family.
    Starting with a performance in Russia in 1985, he has actively performed overseas in countries such as the United States, Germany, France, and South Korea.
    In 1993, he moved his activities to Aichi Prefecture.
    In Tsugaru Teodori, he received the master's license from the founder Head of the Ishikawa School, Yoshihana Ishikawa, in 1998.
    He works and teaches under the master name Ishikawa Yoshihana.
    In Tsugaru folk songs, she has studied under Toyoaki Fukushi and the second generation Ms. Narita Unchikujo since 2004.
    He also began studying Tsugaru-jamisen under Toyoaki Fukushi in 2006, broadening the scope of his skills.
    From 2008 to 2009, he was active mainly in Fukuoka Prefecture.
    Since 2010, he has been active mainly in Aichi Prefecture.
