  • Forest Cottage

    The basic room has two single beds.
    With the addition of two extra beds, up to four people can stay.

    Recommended for guests who want a private and quiet stay.
    It's also nice to devote yourself to reading books such as Wild Animals I Have Known (Seton), The Insect Life (Fabre), and The Tales of Tono.
    The view from the window of a winter cottage is like another world.
    Imagine sitting on your balcony and hearing the chirps of birds and insects in the morning, and the sounds of owls, nighthawks and Nue at night.
    For guests with large families wanting to have fun, we recommend renting two rooms exclusively.
    This is also recommended for customers who are bothered by children crying at night or dogs barking.

    Since it is an open-air bath, it is especially cold in January and February and is coldest in the mornings.
    There are days when the temperature drops to -15 degrees, so please refrain from coming if you have heart problems or are feeling unwell.

  • Mini dog run

    Please spend some relaxing time on the deck, sipping coffee and reading a book.
    Dogs can naturally dig in the dirt and run around, and the smell of the soil will boost their immunity!
    In winter, you can also play in the snow.
    The dog run is small, but the surrounding area has pine forests, farmland, and mountain passes so there is no shortage of opportunities for walks.
    The clear waters of Kamiashigawa River are just 5 minutes away after passing through Wakahiko Tunnel.
    If the timing is right, we will join you in splashing around in the clear stream.

  • Smoking Area

    Smoking is prohibited within the main building and cottages.
    Smoking is permitted in the sunroom and dog run deck in the main building, and on the balconies of the cottages.
    In accordance with fire safety regulations, all rooms in the building are equipped with fire alarms.
    Even the slightest carelessness can cause inconvenience to other guests staying at the inn.
    Also, since this is a mechanical device, please understand that an alarm may be set off due to an error in operation.

    We don't know when a disaster will occur.
    We would appreciate it if you would think of this as an evacuation drill for a major earthquake in the future.
    As the fire prevention manager for the accommodation facility, I intend to be extremely vigilant against fire for the safety of our guests.

Facility Usage Notes

■There is a shared refrigerator and kettle.
You are allowed to bring drinks into any area except the main building's cafeteria.
If you use the facility, please be careful not to leave anything behind.
Please manage your own drinks.
If you would like ice or souvenirs purchased during your trip that you would like frozen or refrigerated, please let us know.
We have a large refrigerator/freezer in the main building where we can store your luggage.
■Please use the main building's open-air Jacuzzi and indoor bath, which are available for private use 24 hours a day.
■All rooms in the main building are on the second floor.
The stairs are narrow and a little steep, so we recommend the cottage for guests who are concerned about this.
