      Restaurant love Chippy and Kafu
      Not only is the food delicious, but they also serve special soup for dogs!
      Chippy and Kafuu are so excited at the intersection in front of Ugajin (harvest and wealth god)!
      We recommend that you make a reservation as the number of seats is small.
      This is a rare restaurant in Izu Plateau area that is open at night.
    • Ine no Hana

      A delicious chicken restaurant.
      Chicken Namban and Goteyaki are recommended!
      The rice cooked in the kettle of the owner's passion is also excellent.

    • Wakaba

      A shop where you can eat the most delicious homemade soft serve ice cream in Ito.
      It's a traditional coffee shop, but it's always thriving.
      There is no mention anywhere that dogs are allowed, but you can enter the store holding a small dog.
      If you're hungry, we recommend the special hot cake.
      Cream anmitsu is also excellent.

    • Izu Kogen Wanko no Mori

      You can make a dragonfly ball for your dog!
      Right in front of the Jogasaki Suspension Bridge, so you can visit the suspension bridge while waiting for the dragonfly balls cooling.

      Most doggies are OK except for the contact zone and restaurants!
      You can also watch the animal show together.

    • Izu Animal Kingdom

      Even though it's a zoo, small dogs are allowed on leashes except in the petting zone and restaurant!
      There is also a dog run.
      In the amusement park zone, you can also ride the ferris wheel.
      It's fun to see how the doggy reacts to white tigers and lions through the glass.
    • Shimoda Aquarium

      Even though it's an aquarium, if you have a small dog, you can just carry it in your arms or in a bag!
      You can also take pictures with penguins and sea lions.
      The cove has become an aquarium, and you can observe the free-flowing dolphins up close with a rowing boat.

    • GRAND ILLUMINATION(Izu Granpal Amusement Park)

      In the daytime you can take doggies in the Granpal Park,
      GRAND ILLUMINATION can be viewed in a bag or cart.(There is also a cart rental.)
      The illuminations are more beautiful than I imagined, so I recommend it.
    • Atami Castle &Atami Trick Art Museum

      Surprisingly, Atami Castle &Trick Art.
      The doggie is actually OK!
      Atami only charges an admission fee, and the foot bath, massage chairs, arcade in the basement, and table tennis are all free!
      Majimu may be at Atami Castle all day long(Lol)
      Small dogs are allowed to be held in Trick Art (separate admission fee) that is located nearby!
      You can take funny pictures with your dog.
  • Sightseeing

    • Mt Omuro&Sakura no Sato

      You can take the lift to the top of the mountain and then walk around the crater in about 20 minutes.
      The doggy is liftable with a hug!
      When it is sunny, you can overlook Izu Shichito Islands and Mt Fuji.
      It's a bit cold, but we recommend winter when the air is clear.
      Sakura no Sato, next to Mt Omuro, is perfect for a walk.
      Some kind of cherry blossoms are in bloom except in summer.
      Yamayaki held in February every year is a powerful force!
    • Mt Komuro

      Mt Omuro is overwhelmingly famous in the Izu Plateau region, but there is also Mt Komuro
      Around Golden Week, the azaleas will be in full bloom and will turn into a masterpiece!
      Usually there are few people, so it's ideal for doggie walks.
      Unlike Mt Omuro, you can walk up and down on foot.
      We recommend a lift on the uphill and a walk on the downhill.
      On the way down the mountain, there is a vast open space with a great view, and you can meet many dinosaurs.
    • Izu Plateau cherry blossom trees

      Every year from the end of March to the beginning of April,
      A tunnel of cherry blossoms with a total length of 3 km will appear on the Izu Plateau.
      It's about a 10-minute walk from Happy Chippy to the cherry blossom tunnel,
      Go for a walk during cherry blossom season!

    • Minami no Sakura to Nanohana Matsuri (Cherry blossom and canola flower festival)

      From early February to early March, you can enjoy Kawazu cherry blossoms on the Izu Peninsula.
      Our recommendation is Minami no Sakura to Nanohana Matsuri (Cherry blossom and canola flower festival) Minami-Izu Town!
      The original Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival also good, but there are too many people and cars...
      A little further south, you can relax and enjoy the Kawazu cherry blossoms!
      You can also enjoy the vast and magnificent rape field!
    • Evening of firefly viewing

      Izu, you can enjoy firefly viewing in June!
      Among them, the Okawa Onsen Hotaru Festival next to the Izu Plateau is especially recommended.
      Even if you don't go to Okawa Onsen
      The road in front of Happy Chippy is called "Hotaru-dori",
      You can see fireflies in just a 2-3 minute walk!
      It's the rainy season, so it depends on the weather, but try to spot fireflies on an evening walk.
    • Narcissus Festival(Tsumekizaki)

      From the end of the year to the beginning of the year, you can enjoy narcissus at Tsumekizaki in Shimoda!
      When the timing is right, the narcissuses in full bloom from the beach are overwhelming.
      There is also a small lighthouse on the hill where you can enjoy a walk.
      Takes about 1 hour by car from Izu Plateau to Shimoda.
