Access

There are no direct flights from major metropolitan areas, so it is common to fly via Kagoshima or Amami Oshima.

You can also take the Amami Islands island hopping route operated by JAC from Naha (Amami Oshima - Tokuno Island - Okinoerabujima Island - Okinawa main island: one round trip per day).

There is no public transportation from Tokuno Island Kotobuki Airport to the guesthouse, so we recommend renting a car.(Approximately 3km / Approximately 5 minutes by car)

●Kametoku Shinko
Regular ferry services use the Kagoshima route connecting Kagoshima New Port and Okinawa's main island.
There is one flight each way every day.
There are two ferry operating companies: Maruei Ferry and Marix Line.
Between Kametoku Shinko and Tokuno Island Kotobuki Airport, where regular ferry services depart, Tokuno Island Sogo Rikunin operates a bus service timed to coincide with the arrival and departure of the ferry, so please make use of this service.
The bus ride from Kametoku Shinko to Tokuno Island Kotobuki Airport takes approximately 54 minutes.

●Hetono Port
Amami Kaiun operates the Kagoshima-Kikai-Chimei route five times a week.
On Tokuno Island, this route uses Hetono Port on the west side of the island.
It takes about 10 minutes by car from Hetono Port to the guesthouse.

●About pick-up and drop-off
For pick-up and drop-off, we own a 10-seater Hiace vehicle, so if you contact us in advance, we can pick you up at Tokunoshima Airport or Hetono Port.

●Parking
Public transport is not very convenient on the island, so we recommend renting a car.
There is ample parking space on-site, so you can park without making a reservation.
