Tsukioka Onsen has grown since its hot springs were first discovered in the early Taisho period, thanks to its reputation for therapeutic hot spring treatments.
The hot spring source is also located next to the facility, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful hot spring water that feels like stepping into an emerald.

  • Private open-air bath "Hiten no Ne Ne"

    A private open-air bath with a sense of openness
    Relax with your family in a private open-air bath that is filled with a sense of openness.
    The open-air bath is spacious and private, so you can enjoy your time without worrying about anyone else.

    The cypress bath is large enough for about three adults to bathe.
    The rest area has been converted into a spacious living room, and is furnished with modern interior decor.

    Cautions
    		Each group can bathe in one location for 40 minutes (free of charge) once.
    Advance reservations are also possible, so if you would like to make a reservation, please specify the following in the requests/remarks section.
    ①The name of either the private open Tenkudari air bath "Hiten no Ne Ne" or the indoor bath "Tenkudari"
    ②Desired usage time
    When making a reservation, priority will be given to those who contact us first regarding their time.

  • The benefits and effects of hot springs

    A natural hot spring that is said to be "like an emerald"

    The hot spring at Hirosekan is slightly alkaline with a pH value of 7.5.
    The lower the pH value below 7, the more acidic the solution is, and conversely, the higher the pH value above 7, the more alkaline it is.
    In fact, many lotions have a pH value of 7.5.

    Bathing in Tsukioka Onsen's waters leaves your skin smooth and rejuvenated, and also warms your body from the inside out, so it is loved by many as a "Bijin-no-Yu and a bath of eternal youth and longevity."
    Relax and enjoy plenty of natural lotion.
    Characteristics
    		Tsukioka no Tsukioka has a temperature of 51 degrees at the source and is the third most sulfurous spring in Japan.
    The hot spring is called a "salt-containing hydrogen sulfide spring" and is a light green color with a strong sulfur smell.
    Because it is a hydrogen sulfide spring, it has a strong bleaching effect and whitens the skin, making it famous as a "hot spring that makes you beautiful."
    Efficacy
    		It is effective for neuralgia, sensitivity to cold, frozen shoulder, rheumatism, and gynecological disorders.
