History of Hirosekan
Founded in 1923 - A legacy of passion -
- The other day, while I was sorting through my photo albums, I came across some old black and white photos.
The photo showed the original Grandpa Hiroyoshi and Grandma Ino looking friendly with each other, and it made me feel warm inside for the first time in a long time.
When I was little, Grandma Ino would often tell me a story about the beginnings of Hirose Hall.

- Hiroyoshi and Ino met in Japan during the Taisho era.
However, Hiroyoshi went to Hawaii alone.
Ino, who missed Hiroyoshi day after day, thought of him and set out on a journey to find him alone on a boat.
I wonder how much time has passed...
When I finally met Hiroyoshi, he was wrestling in Maui under the name "Hirosegawa."
After spending a wonderful time together in Hawaii, they opened a lodging called "Hirosekan" in their hometown of Niigata.
Even now, time flows warmly, leisurely, and almost monochrome, at the Hirose Hall.
To help you enjoy a warm, relaxed, and sophisticated atmosphere, we offer a menu that changes monthly, and offer the hospitality that only a small inn can provide.
We provide service that allows you to enjoy the seasonal flavors, such as "serve hot dishes while they're still hot."
The natural hot springs, a blessing of nature, have continued to flow unchanged since the Taisho era.
The sulfur spring is a little hot, but the emerald-colored hot spring is said to be particularly effective for relieving fatigue, lower back pain, and improving skin condition.

【1】"It's like an emerald." Hot springs.
During the Taisho era, Tsukioka Onsen gushed forth when they were trying to find oil.
Its sulfur content is the third highest in Japan.
If you drop a 10 yen coin on it, it will discolor within a few minutes.
The water is heated in the winter, but it is 100% source water.
The hot spring source is also located next to the facility, so you can experience the beautiful hot springs as if you were stepping into an emerald.
The private baths are available until 23:00.
If you are going sightseeing or golfing, we can store your luggage for free at any time.

The cypress open-air bath can accommodate about three people.
