About 90 minutes by car from the city center on the expressway, Lake Yamanakako is a highland resort at an altitude of 1,000m, the closest of the Fuji Five Lakes to Mt Fuji.
Blessed with a rich natural environment, and especially because of its topography on the east side of Mt Fuji, it is home to mysterious natural phenomena that change every moment throughout the year,
There are many miraculous sights close by that can only be seen here at Lake Yamanakako, such as Diamond Fuji and Venus Belt.
You can also see many wild birds and enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season, from fresh greenery in spring to autumn leaves in autumn.
