Okinawa is a small village called "Hoshitate" located on the west side of Iriomote Island.
"Irunty Futademura" is a series of rental cottages scattered throughout the Hoshitate Settlement.

This area has a history of over 400 years, and ancient festivals, culture, and customs still remain today.
A small, old-fashioned village surrounded by houses surrounded by windbreak forests of Fukugi and stone walls made of coral.
It is surrounded by a coral reef in front of you and the back is surrounded by jungle mountains.
It is an everyday scene for people in the village to visit the mountains to the sea in order to get what they need to enjoy the seasons and live their lives.
If you stay in a Hoshitate Settlement, you will surely feel the nostalgic atmosphere.

★Starting in June 2026, the ferry company's free shuttle bus service will be reduced.Please check the transportation options from the port.

    If you are considering participating in the tour, please choose an activity tour guided by a guide with a Taketomi Town

    Iriomote Island and its affiliated islands (*Those who carry out nature guide projects (* those that do not involve exchange of money or history guides in the village are not covered) in river areas and coastal areas but do not include sea areas) must Taketomi Town tourist guide license. It is obligatory.
