    Tsugaike Nature Park in Otari Village is located at an altitude of 1,900 to 2,000 meters.
    It is characterized by stepped faults formed by volcanic activity on Hakuba Norikura.
    This natural garden is home to plants such as sphagnum moss and cotton grass.
    A unique ecosystem has developed in the cold weather conditions.
    Dead plants do not decay but turn into peat, and new plants grow on top of it.
    The marshland formed over millions of years.
    This area, nurtured by the power of nature, has been designated as a Type 1 Special Area of Chubu Sangaku National Park, where its precious natural environment is protected.
