From the main lodge to the guest rooms, every building here is handmade.
We offer cottages, Western-style rooms, and Japanese-style rooms.
The rooms are all different and each one is unique.
Choose from a variety of options to suit your needs, whether you're with your family, spouse, friends, training, or a private training camp.
In the experience corner, we hold a variety of experience classes that can be done by one person.

The horse riding ground is located in front of the log house, which offers a panoramic view of Kurumayama Kurumayama.
Lessons are conducted using well-trained, calm horses.
Lessons are Western style and are suitable for everyone from children to seniors.
It can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experienced players.
Even if it rains, you can take lessons in a covered riding arena, so you don't have to worry.

There are many different types of rooms, including rooms with large, continuous beds, rooms with windows overlooking the horse riding grounds and Kurumayama, and rooms with unique Mexican-style decorations.
Additionally, the view from the corridors surrounding the atrium hall creates an extraordinary atmosphere.The collection of horse figurines from around the world is also worth seeing.

We offer spacious rooms that can accommodate up to 8 people, as well as quiet rooms with views of the horse riding arena.A Japanese-style room with tatami mats is cool in the summer and provides a cozy atmosphere with a heated table (kotatsu) in the winter.
All rooms are located on the second floor of the Japanese-style building and have two shared toilets, two sinks, and a shared bath down the stairs.

The first floor is the front desk, the restaurant where breakfast and dinner are served, and the second floor is the guest rooms.
In 1962, carpenters built Hope Lodge's first lodging building.
The founder learned the ropes by helping out carpenters, and then, together with his colleagues, built many log houses with his own hands.
Then, in 1991, we imported Canadian logs and rebuilt this large, two-story main log house.
At the time, filming and other schedules overlapped, and construction took approximately three years to complete.
You'll be amazed by the ingenious design, such as the use of rafters made from Kitayama cedar logs grown from seedlings in the founder's hometown of Kyoto, and the use of interesting timbers such as curved trees and knotty, bifurcated trees that are usually difficult to use, collected from the mountains and used for the stair railings and decorative elements on the facade.

Back when the term "recycling" was still uncommon, it was built using discarded materials from the athletes' village of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
It has since been renovated three times, with new handmade stained glass lighting and interior decor, creating a comfortable atmosphere that evokes a Western feel despite being a Japanese-style room.

Built in 1975, it was called the Craft Shed.
It is the second oldest remaining building at Hope Lodge.
The idea of planting grass on a roof was very unusual at the time, and it served as inspiration for many architects.
It is currently closed for renovations.
